VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
There are many volunteer opportunities throughout the school year for parents, families, and community members to be involved in the PTA and Seventh District Elementary. Below you will find some current opportunities to get involved. Please remember that you will need to complete the BCPS volunteer training through the link provided below prior to being a part of any in school activities!
HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE
The hospitality committee provides appetizers and desserts for various staff meetings and events throughout the school year to help support our teachers, staff members, and administrators. Volunteers drop off the items at the school during the day on a date that they choose via Sign-Up Genius.
PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT
Parents’ Night Out is a yearly event with Seventh District parents, families, teachers, friends, and community members who come together for an evening of fun. Volunteers are always needed to help with planning, decorating, silent auction, and the day of set up and clean up.
LIBRARY HELPERS
Library Helpers come in throughout the year during the school day to assist our librarian with organizing, check in, check out, and many other tasks. Volunteers sign up for a time that is convenient for them via Sign-Up Genius.
